Qualifications
- Experience with the website development process
- Experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, WordPress, Laravel, MySQL
- Experience with web hosting and administration
- Strong self-learner
- Ability to work independently
- Education is not required but is considered an asset. We’re willing to take on any candidate who demonstrates the above skillset and ability to learn.
Responsibilities
- Turn design mockups into functional websites
- Create custom WordPress themes
- Develop web apps on the Laravel platform
- Provide maintenance and support for our clients
- Contribute to all stages of the website development process
What Will Really Impress Us
- Demonstrate a good eye for design
- Photography skills
- Photoshop, InDesign, and/or Illustrator skills
- Self-taught individuals
- Good sense of humour
- Watching a wall with a freshly coated layer of paint turn into its final form
